things are not going well. i wish i didnt have to write this…i wish i didnt have to write period. i wish lisa could do it, it would be none of this was happening! i wish i could tell you that everyone was wrong, that things have turned around and everyone is resting peacefully. lisa just finished holding jaxton. the doctor is here to put in a central line, which will hopefully give jaxton more time. they are calling this comfort care. this will not cure jaxton of any thing, it will just give the family more time. jake is on his way up here to meet his little brother. it will be so sweet to have the whole family together.

i know that i am taking a few liberties here, but i saw this on another post and it touched me and feel the same way about jaxton!

“Yes, (jaxton) is sick, but alive in Christ – forevermore.  This blog is far more than a gripping medical story.  It’s a record of daily concrete actions by the Spirit of God living in this family – not because of any goodness in us, but by the sovereign love of the Father overflowing through your prayers that are presented by His Son seated at His Father’s right hand interceding for us.” the simple wife, speaking of Joanne

i will update as i can, but please pray that God would allow Jaxton to keep fighting…we all need him for a while longer!!

aimee

Heavenly father, your will be done in earth as it is in heaven. Please bring comfort to Lisa’s and Josh’s hearts. You have performed thousands of miracles through Jaxton, in these few hours he has touched so many lives and it’s because of you. You gave your only son for us because you love us. Abba father, please make your power and might be felt through these 4 lives that are beating for you right now. Thank you Lord for the life of Jaxton…

Jaxton will live forever in Christ but I’m heartbroken to know his time on earth may be cut short. Please Lord Jesus, bless this precious little boy, his big brother, and his brave parents. And bless the wonderful girl updating this blog between tears. May your healing presence be felt around all of them right now.

  4. Aimee,
Thanks for keeping us all up to date…my heart is heavy for Lisa, Josh and little jake. I am so very thankful that the four of them can be together and that Jake will be able to spend time with his little brother, mom and dad. I continue to pray for the Lord to heal Jaxton… whether it be here or in Heaven. We know how much the Lord loves Lisa and Josh and how much he loves those 2 boys. Speaking from personal experience, I am praying for the Lord to carry them through these precious moments with Jaxton and bless them with His presence right there with them… I will be praying!!

Praying for everyone. For strength and peace through this journey. Our God is a good God and I believe he has GREAT plans for Jaxton and his family. God bless all of you! I am a Christ follower but I can only hope and pray to have a sliver of the faith you have. My husband and I will continue to pray to our wonderful Heavenly father for the miraculous fight only he can give. Thank you for being such a light to everyone!

Lisa, Josh & Jake, I’ve been praying for you so much this evening, I have even asked some of my friends and family to start praying for you and for Jaxton! The lord led me to a post on a Baby Center Birth Board and he has tugged on my heart. I pray that the lord surrounds you and baby Jaxton with an army of angels, when you feel the most alone may you feel the air from their beating wings and know that in fact you are never alone, I pray that they keep you in good company and that they hold Jaxton in their arms letting all mighty god preform miracles in front of your eyes! God is still in the miracle business and he is there with you, he hears the multitude of prayers that are being said right this very minute. God has a plan and everything he does is for good! Do not let Satan try to bring worry or despair, for God is for us and no one can be against us! I pray for your strength and knowledge to make decisions as they arise, and for peace to know that God will take care of Jaxton no matter what happens!

    Love and Prayers from Indiana!

Jaxton – you are loved!! By so many people – but mostly, deeply, completely, by God. We are thankful to have these few precious hours with you. May God hold you and your parents close in these next coming days.
