// Jaxton’s Video

Thank You to Jet Kaiser Films for this video!

What more could I ask for than memories captured and a platform to tell about my son Jaxton’s amazingly abundant life?

Jet Kaiser took on the task of documenting our families story with Jaxton’s life.  And what a task it was. Jet, who normally does weddings and artsy videos, is know in the Indianapolis area as the “Rising Star” and “Bride’s Choice” 2 years in a row. He stretch his comfort zone and tackled the Delivery Zone  🙂 … So I’d like to be the first to welcome Jet into the “Welcome Baby – Delivery” section of videography! It was his first delivery EVER!!! (I wonder if this experience will push back any plans of having kids- I hope not because they would make the CUTEST kids ever!)

We have a tremendous amount of love, respect, and admiration for Jet and his beautiful wife Danielle. This couple is wonderful to their core!

I have not written since Jaxton passed on March 9th for a few reasons, but I do plan on writing again on the 4 month anniversary of His birthday in heaven – July 9th. It also happens to be the same day as my 30th birthday.

Thank you all who loved our family so very much and stayed informed through out our journey. I apologize for the absence. Please know when I write it’s purely from my heart and I don’t want to rush through.

Once again a *HUGE Thank You* to Jet & Dani Kaiser!

… and a special thanks to you for still caring!

Josh spoke at moment church about Jaxton’s life.

Much Love,

Lisa Husmann

You guys are awesome. I am so sorry I missed you at the hospital when you came to visit Melba. She was so happy to spend some time with you. Your husband gave an amazing testimony. Melba and I both watched it together. Thanks for sharing!

Incredibly beautiful video! You two have chosen to allow God to work through Jaxton’s life and it is truly amazing. I know you are enjoying His blessings even now and will continue to in the days, weeks, and years ahead, because God blesses obedience. I didn’t get to talk to either of you on Sunday, but I sure enjoyed getting my time with Jake in the nursery. What a precious boy. Josh you did a great job sharing. I know hearts were drawn to the Lord, because mine was.
    Love and prayers,
    Connie

  17. Loved the video, absolutely loved Josh’s sermon. I am always amazed at how God can use such a tiny little soul to affect so many for his kingdom. Dear Jesus, we thank you for Jaxton and his life. We thank you for all that you have done through him and the people you have brought to you through this little boy. I pray right now for Lisa as she is still grieving. I pray that each time a tear comes to her eyes that you will hold onto her hand God. Help her to feel your soft stroke on her face as she continues on each day. You have made her a strong woman Lord, and we praise you for the role you have given her in your will for Jaxton. I praise you for the Husmann family and ask that you begin to heal their hearts. In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

  22. This was cause for an outpouring of mommy tears…sobs actually. My heart just aches at the thought of losing a child. Thank you for sharing your story. I also have a child waiting for me in glory. I never met him…his heart stopped beating early in my pregnancy, but like you mentioned in the video, he was mine…for a very short time…but he was mine. Yet I am reminded that truly he was God’s before he was ever mine, and God chose to call him home. I imagine our two have met!! 🙂 And I also know that they will be waiting for us at heaven’s gates. Blessings and love to all you love here on earth and in heaven~

I just checked in on your blog today for the first time in a few weeks because I noticed you haven’t been posting and wow . . . I was so blown away by this video. What a true gift this must be for YOU to have but also to every person that views it. I was so moved by the commentary by the two of you, the way you guys looked at each other throughout, the raw emotion, and glory you continually give to God. Also too, I LOVED Jake’s reaction after Grandma saw the page in the book that announced he was a big brother. Grandma screamed and he kinda grabbed the book to look at it like, “Wow . . . what did she see?” Such a smarty. Much Love to you my friend. Continued prayers and continued support from the Ewers Family always. Adrienne Ewers

  24. God bless you as you go down this difficult road. I truly understand how hard it is to lose your child as I have myself lost a child. She was 22 years old, but hurts just as much. I’ve been reading your story for some time now and have been touched deeply by your moving and emotional testimony. Once again, God Bless you and your family!

I think so often about you and your family. As I watched the video, so many emotions ran through me…feelings for you and feelings that I experienced during the birth of my baby girl. We prayed for 7 long minutes that God would send her back from heaven. We are so grateful that she came back.

Thank you so much for sharing your story. It touched me so much because I too am going through the same situation. My name is Jalyn Smith, a 19 year old college student. I am almost 18 weeks pregnant with my first child. Yesterday I got a call from my doctor’s office with news that my blood work came back and my baby may have Trisomy 18 and they wanted to do more tests. This morning I got an ultrasound done and everything looked fine at first. The baby didn’t have any noticeable signs of Trisomy 18; it was the correct size and it didn’t have rocker feet. They even told us what we were having…a BOY! Unfortunately, they noticed that only the right side of his heart was developed and that there was only one artery in my umbilical cord. They took samples of the fluid from around the baby by doing an amniocentesis test. We get our results in about a week. They said that if he has Trisomy 18 we’ll have to make a decision whether or not we’re gonna continue with the pregnancy. If it isn’t Trisomy 18 then he will have to get a heart transplant when he’s born. We’re just praying for the best for our little boy. Your family will be in my prayers as well. God bless.

Lisa- what a beautiful little boy you and Josh were so priveledged to bring into this world. Jaxton’s life, although a snippet, brings a life time of memories. So perfectly sweet……… a little life residing in Paradise, fully embraced in our Lord’s loving arms.

Thank you for sharing the way you have with so many people how God’s Love brings you through the most difficult of life’s heartaches.

    I love you. dar
