Josh voted BOY. Lisa voted GIRL.
I was so nervous! The anticipation had been building for 4 days! My best friend Michelle and I went to an ultrasound on January 17th to have the lady put the gender on a piece of paper. She then gave the envelope with the gender to Michelle. Michelle didn’t open it until I was on the plane ride home to Indiana! Then she called a friend here in Indy to get the box and balloons ready for the reveal. Josh and I both originally thought it was a girl. Then slowly over time he changed to BOY.
I was DEAD SET it was a GIRL! I was so convinced that it was a girl I wondered how I would be able to breath if blue balloons popped out!
Well, I am slowly recovering from shock! The lack of pink balloons lingering in my house is haunting. LOL 😉
18 weeks now and feeling great!

Congratulations Lisa, Josh, Jacob and Jaxon! Boys are great! I have 3 Grandsons and they are great! a little ornery, but that’s how they are supposed to be! Every day with them is a blessing and makes life a more enjoyable place! Congratulations once again, and let us all know of his arrival! By the way, when my youngest child was born he was early by 2 and a half months weighing only 2 pounds and half an ounce. So when I chose his name it was with the thought that he needed alot of help from God and needed to be close to him so the name he was given was Christopher. Having Christ in his name was maybe his saving grace! He just turned 21 August 15th 2011. Christmas would not be the same without Christ, so I believe his name was just perfect! Just a thought when choosing a name, although I have noticed the closeness to J’s. I also have a son Jamie, a daughter Jessica and my youngest grandson, Jeremiah. Sorry! I keep babbling and this is your joy! So happy for you!

Lisa, funny how I’ve never met you, but cried tears of joy for you when I checked your blog today and saw your news! I started following Jaxton’s story soon after you gave birth and prayed for him and your family daily. I also had everyone at our church praying. I am so happy for your family. God is so good! I have 3 boys and they are wonderful!! I often say I would not know what to do with a girl. I just found out 2 weeks ago that I am pregnant again and secretly hoping for pink also:)

hey lisa! i read your blogs about your baby and it really made me cry. i, too, just found out that my baby girl has holoprosencephaly and omphalocene. im now 24 weeks and your blog really inspired me to go on with life and to give everything to God. please pray for my baby girl too (our first child).
