lisa is doing very well, especially right after having major surgery! jake was able to come up and meet his little brother, he didnt stay long, but it was so cute to see him trying to figure everything out. after jake’s visit lisa came back to her room to be checked and all that goes with that. she is now back in jaxton’s room with josh. josh was able to hold jaxton for quite a while now it is lisa’s turn again. at this point there are no updates about jaxton other than he is still fighting and he is still here! 🙂 lisa and josh are both taking the time to tell jaxton the things that they want him to hear and to know…heartbreaking to say the least. we have all had wet cheeks! God is moving and touching the lives of those around this awesome family, me included. i am so blessed to be here and witness real faith lived out!

i cant tell jaxton this without crying, but i am sure it is how we all feel…

jaxton, you are loved. you are not an accident. we want you, not just today but forever!  jaxton, you make all of this worth it…your precious tiny ears, our long skinny legs, just you! i will always love you! xoxo “aunt aimee”

Jaxton is worth it! Keep speaking words of life! There is power in the tongue! Even at 3:00am. May you rest this hour in the peace that passes all understanding.

Lord Jesus – When you died on the cross, you delivered, saved, healed, and restored. I am asking that the healing work of Jesus Christ be released in Jaxton’s life. Our God is healer!
Jaxton – You are precious in His sight! You are precious to us all!

  11. I just want to say I am so sorry for the hardships and lessons and pain this family has had to go through. Jaxton is teaching and reminding me how luck and thankful I should feel. I know we all have issues and problems. I know we all need to vent and get advice thats what women do. I would just like to say the while we are doing that we need to keep Jaxton and his family in our thoughts hearts and prayers. I pray that should i ever have to go through anything even remotly close to what that wonderful family has I will have the strength and courage to do it with the dignity and integrity this family has.

Dear Lord Jesus, we thank you that every moment of Jaxtons life brings you praise. That for as long as we all live Jaxton’s story is a love story, shared. I am amazed by sharing of such a hallowed moment of Your children, the Husmann family. Continue to give them strength.

    Amen

From Ann Voskamp’s amazing blog: http://www.aholyexperience.com
Only the WORD is the answer to rightly reading the world, because The Word has nail-scarred hands that cup our face close, wipe away the tears running down, has eyes to look deep into our brimming ache, and whisper, “I know. I know.”

    and

That suffering nourishes grace, and pain and joy are arteries of the same heart—and mourning and dancing are but movements in His unfinished symphony of beauty.

    Dear Friends,
You are held close in my heart…Josh, Lisa, Jake and Jaxton. Jaxton is a gift, sent from God, and I pray that God’s mighty presence surrounds you as you care for this little man. He is blessed to have you as parents. Wish I could make it all better, but I know that God will make all of this beautiful in His time and is, even now, shedding His grace and beauty on your precious son. Embraces, prayers and hugs to you.

Lord Jesus, your ways are above our ways. Thank you for you LOVE and your comfort which is beyond understanding. Lord, I pray for your supernatural hand to move powerfully in the life of Jaxton and in his family. I pray that you comfort them all and bring a peace that is overwhelming no matter what they face. Thank you for all that you are doing. I also ask for healing. Healing for the whole family. I ask this in JESUS name, AMEN.
“Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours” (Mark 11:24, NIV).
