JAXTON PRAYER ALERT

He has crashed multiple times in the last 12 hours and has had to ventilated by hand once. We’ve decided to ask God for a COMPLETE miracle.  This afternoon or evening we’re going to take Jaxton off the ventilator and take his life out of human hands and place it into God’s hands.  We’re asking everyone to join us in praying for a COMPLETE miracle for Jaxton. We’re praying God completely heals him of Trisomy 18, he breathes on his own, his brain is healed, the omphalocele is gone, and he leads a long and productive life, here on Earth, healthy & happy and glorifying God in everything he does before he spends eterniity with Him!!!

Thank you SO MUCH for your prayers!!!!!!!!!!!!!

– Josh

Lord God, in your name, I come before you for this family, whom I have never met but just happened upon from a friends blog, to wrap your loving arms around this family. To show them your unconditional love, to heal them of their pain, to comfort them in this very trying time, to make your presense known to them. Father I pray for complete and total healing for this little boy Jaxton, if this be your perfect will. Father we love you, we worship you and we thank you for your blessing. Please Father wrap your arms around this family as they experience such a tough time right now. In Your Son’s Name. Amen

Let the doctors be baffled by what you have done and let more people come to know you through this child and his life. Let him grow to be a strong wonderful man that fears you Lord. You said where two or more are gathered together there you are in the midst. Lord let us be able to trust you and Your will and Your plan for Jaxton, but please God, let his mother watch him grow up, please Lord. We love you and thank you for what you are going to do in Jaxton’s life. Hold his family up Lord when they can’t stand on their own. In Jesus name we pray. Amen

As we were worshipping at the end of Flood is that we learned the sad news. We praise the Lord for letting you hold precious Jaxton in your arms and feel his beating heart, warmth and love. He was the most beloved baby in the world by all of us; but especially by two loving parents that were there with faith and strenght to show the world God’s power. Praise Him for Jaxton, Lisa, Josh and Jake. Thank Him for your sacrifice that will not be in vain. We love you and our hearts struggle as we think of your suffering and loss. I have no words to say that would comfort you but I know He will comfort your souls. In Jesus name we pray.

  124. Prayers for you and your family. Cheryl Demus is a friend of ours (my husband interned for Chris Brown at First Baptist Pomona) and has told us of your son. We have been praying for you guys. Our daughter Faith ditched us for heaven when she was 4 days old. She had Trisomy 13. I actually posted a little bit about our story on my blog today. I know when I was going through it I just wanted to read something by someone who had been there. And there was no blog world back then and really no books. So if you feel like reading and relating…

Lisa I just heard. Jennee Searing put out a call for prayer. But sister in Christ I am so sorry for your loss. There are no words to even try to make it better, ease the pain or even tell you anything but I am so sorry. I want you to know that I have my church family in San Dimas praying for you and your family. I am humbled beyond words but I will sit next to you at the foot of our LORD and hug you in hopes to take even the smallest of your tears away.
    In HIM,

    Josh & Lisa,
Your family has been in my thoughts and prayers for the past 2 weeks. I find myself checking your blog several times a day and was hopeful Jaxton would survive. While his time on earth was short, know in your hearts he touched so many people. God has a plan for all of us and I know that God will help you through the days ahead.

My prayers go up for you both through this time of loss. My heart aches for you, but I am rejoicing in God our hope, because Jaxon is whole now in the presence of his Creator. I thank God for the time you all had together nowing that you will see one another again. Praise the name of the Lord our God…

As I write this note to you and your dear family, tears flood my eyes. I lost my dear boy Matteo in 2009 and I know all to well the deep pain of losing a baby. I don’t know you and you don’t know me and yet now we become connected. I will be praying as you begin to work through this time of grief. St. Matteo has a new angel Jaxton in heaven today. May you find Peace, may you find support from family and friends and lots of prayers. Words are not enough during a time like this. Peace be with you. We are praying and thinking of you.

    On the day when
    the weight deadens
    on your shoulders
    and you stumble,
    may the clay dance
    to balance you.

    And when your eyes
    freeze behind
    the grey window
    and the ghost of loss
    gets in to you,
    may a flock of colours,
    indigo, red, green,
    and azure blue
    come to awaken in you
    a meadow of delight.

    When the canvas frays
    in the currach of thought
    and a stain of ocean
    blackens beneath you,
may there come across the waters
    a path of yellow moonlight
    to bring you safely home.

May the nourishment of the earth be yours,
may the clarity of light be yours,
may the fluency of the ocean be yours,
may the protection of the ancestors be yours.
    And so may a slow
    wind work these words
    of love around you,
    an invisible cloak
    to mind your life.

Written by the Late John O’ Donohue

This poem meant a lot to me after the loss of my baby St. Matteo. My mother had sent it to me and it has become a prayer to me. I give it to you now, I pray it helps you too.

    Adoni,

You are the Author of life. Prognosis have no bearing on Your power. Please bless this family and sustain your servant Jaxton through his trial.

As you promised in Your Word, the faith of a mustard seed can move mountains. Your children now cry out to you, Adoni, to help this child in his hour of need.

May his life be a blessing to you. Allow his life to be a testimony that You are God, Who gave the first miracle of life to us as a people. May all who see Jaxton, see the work You are doing in his life, and glorify You our Heavenly Father. Amen

I am so sad to hear the news of Jaxtons passing. I found your blog the day before he was born and I will never be the same. As a mother myself I cannot begin to understand what you’re going through. Jaxton touched my life and was truly blessed to have you both as his parents. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family each and everyday and will continue to be through this extremely difficult time.

You sure show us amazing spirit. Lisa we went to jr high and high school together, I still remember singing Janet Jackson in the 7th grade with you 😉 I’m so humbled and awed by your faithfulness and courage in the face of unbearable pain.Jaxton has certainly got into mine and my sons heart and we prayed nightly for a miracle. I too have experienced a small bit of your pain. Me and my husband had to go to God and our pastor for help when in 2009 my water broke at 5 months along. We ended up with a beautiful angel baby named Bella Francis marie. I hope Jaxton and Bella get to play together in Heaven until we meet again. God is so good and that showed in Jaxton’s beautiful face. I was mad at God for a lil bit but quickley realised Bella was called back to God so she could bring us Bailey Jane in May 2010. She just turned 10 months and I thank God for both my girls. May God bless you again and you have your personal angel. Praying daily for you and your entire family. My condolences as well. Thank you again Husmann family for showing the true meaning of LOVE!
    God bless
    Nicole and kids.

“Thankfulness takes the sting out of adversity. That is why I have instructed you to give thanks for everything. There is an element of mystery in this transaction: you give Me thanks (regardless of your feelings), and I give you joy (regardless of your circumstances). This is a spiritual act of obedience – at times, blind obedience. To people who don’t know Me intimately, it can seem irrational and even impossible to thank Me for heartrending hardships. Nonetheless, those who obey Me in this way are invariably blessed, even though difficulties may remain.
Thankfulness opens your heart to My presence and your mind to My thoughts. You may still be in the same place, with the same set of circumstances, but it is as if a light has been switched on, enabling you to see from My perspective. It is this light of My presence that removes the sting from adversity.” (from “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young)
This is my morning devotion I read this past November when our daughter, also with T18, moved home to heaven. My heart is deeply broken for you as you say your earthly good byes today. I believe Jaxton has 2 birthdays now, his 1st one here to you & now his 2nd one home to heaven.
Our family is continuing to lift you up to our heavenly Father.
