Speechless and teary. The word AMAZING does not even do these pictures justice. I love that little man and seeing these precious, God-given moments. Jessica…what an artist too! Wow- gorgeous photography.

    Hi Lisa,
I was sent your blog by a friend that has been praying for you and your family. I just wanted to let you know that I will be committed to praying for your Jaxton and for God’s continued healing hand upon him. My twin daughters were both this year at 3lbs each and were in the NICU for quite some time, one suffering a severe brain hemorrhage. I can tell you that I have never seen God move so much and He is continuing to work through them today as they continue to exceed the dr.’s expectations. Praying for continued success with Jaxton’s breathing and peace for your family. God bless you all : )

I am so proud of the progress Jaxton is making! God is AMAZING! I am still praying for him and you 2 as well. Just keep Isaiah 53:3 as you pray for him. God takes care of his children. Thank you for keeping us all updated on him. We all love to see his pics and hear the GOOD news on how God is taking care of him and the miraculous healing that has taken place! God Bless!

Thanks so much for sharing the video of Jaxton breathing on his own. It just really touched my heart and brought tears to my eyes to see that precious little angel laying their, eyes open, breathing on his own. Our God is truly an awesome God. Continuing to pray that God will continue to work miracles with Jaxton and that he will continue progressing. Such a miracle and a blessing. Also praying for all the nurses and doctors and everyone involved in his care. Love in Christ!!

  7. Hi Lisa and family,

I’m originally from Indianapolis and heard about Jaxton’s story from a friend there. I have found your families’ journey to be so touching. I am currently 10 weeks pregnant myself and because of your story it was easy for my husband and I (faithful Christians) to make the decision to carry to term no matter what we find out on the ultrasounds.

Thank you for sharing your photos. The photographer who has been on your journey with you is awesome. I love the photo of Jaxton all fuzzy and by himself. I’m a photographer myself and it has inspired me to reach out to families like yours to take photos for them.

Prayers for everyone involved. Thank you again for sharing Jaxton’s story. Praise the Lord for all the answered prayers and his continued life.

How lucky you are to have such a beautiful boy. I am scheduled to be induced Monday the 7th with our 4th child. Her name is Mackinley, and she has full trisomy 18. With heart and organ defects as well as spinabifida. Our outlook is grim we are hoping for maybe a few hours or maybe a day. At best. I know thatshe is a miracle. And am thankful for the past 9 months we have been blessed with. I pray all continues to go well for you and your sweet baby boy.

  10. Hello Husmann family. I wanted you to know I am on my knees for your beautiful boy. Lisa, I am a fellow Glendora-ian. I am on a similar but different (if that makes any sense) journey with my son, Tage. I was told he has autism, but a specialist I believe I was divinely guided to believes what I intrinsically know to be true, Tage had the cord wrapped around his neck and was born still, but revived which caused damage to his brain (the damage to his brain mimick autistic like symptoms). I am believing God for His healing as well. I have read your entire story and you’ve captured my heart. The Lord be with you and I pray you feel His mighty arms around you at all times. Jaxton has a lot to teach us, which he already has.
